Josiah Alderink - President

Josiah Alderink is a Prospect Development Analyst at UVU and a part-time ethics instructor and applied ethics consultant. He has volunteered his ethics expertise at various UVU events and conferences, at high schools including Waterford and West High School, and at the University of Utah’s Prison Education Program. Josiah holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy with a minor in Ethics and Classical Studies from UVU. He is currently pursuing his master’s in bioethics at Ohio State University.

Greg Brooks - Vice President

Gregory Brooks is an early-career Prospect Research Analyst at the University of Utah. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Utah Valley University in 2023, where he also completed 80% of a Sociology degree, and 50% of a data analytics minor. Prior to his work in fundraising research, he was a student fellow at UVU’s Center for Social Impact where he coordinated evaluation efforts. He was a Map the System global finalist, presenting systems research at Oxford University, and worked as a research assistant at UVU’s Social Impact Metrics lab where he published an analysis of academic advising on student performance. In his free time, Greg is a Pushcart-prize nominated poet, amateur juggler, and crochet quitter. You can read his work in Irreantum, Psaltery & Lyre, Touchstones, Warp & Weave, Prodigal Press, Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought, and elsewhere. He hopes to start a master’s program in finance in the Fall of 2025 – and is passionate about all things data! Greg lives with his wife and cat in Orem, UT.

Emily Wells - Secretary

Emily is a Prospect Development Analyst at Intermountain Health. When she was a student at Utah State University, she joined Advancement in 2021 as an Alumni Investigator. After graduation in 2022, she transitioned to a Development Officer Analyst in Advancement Services at USU. She received her B.S. in Sociology, with a minor in Criminal Justice and a certificate in Law & Society Area Studies from Utah State University. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, game nights with family and friends, playing pickleball, and attending local events. 

Imogen Holdsworth - Treasurer

Imogen Holdsworth is a Senior Prospect Management Analyst at the University of Utah, where she supports Prospect Development and the Principal Gifts team. She brings over two years of experience in Advancement and is currently completing her Master’s in Business Analytics at the David Eccles School of Business.
