Presentation Title: Making Conflict Gentler
Maria is an Associate Professor of communication at Utah Valley University. Her research focuses on conflict and organizational and environmental communication. Before Maria was an academic, she was a raft guide. From 2001-2012 she worked on rivers as a guide or river ranger in West Virginia, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. She loves outdoor activities, reading, playing guitar, and thinking about organizational structure and systems.

Parking: Parking for the event will be available in the L9/L10 lots, near the Young Living Alumni Center Building (just off of the 1200 W 800 S Intersection). There is also street parking nearby (on West 680 South), and easy access from the Frontrunner station via UVU's walking bridge.
