Join Apra Utah this spring for a timely presentation on ChatGPT by Daniel Hadley, Deputy Chief Philanthropy Officer at the University of Utah, and a lively discussion afterwards.

AI Tools for Development: Let's Chat about ChatGPT

This session is about ChatGPT and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the field of prospect research and fundraising. It will cover the ethics of AI and how it can be used to improve fundraising outcomes. Attendees will come away with a better understanding of the ethical considerations of using AI for prospect research and fundraising, as well as practical tips for implementing and using AI in their own organizations. The session will also explore real-world applications of AI, and provide insight into how AI can be used to increase and improve fundraising results. Presenter’s note: this was written by ChatGPT. Did it pass the Turing test? Can you? Join this session for an interactive demo where we will pit human research professionals (maybe you?) against AI to test the differences.

Daniel Hadley is a deputy chief philanthropy officer at the University of Utah, where he assists with operations, budgeting, and large fundraising efforts. Prior to finding his way to Advancement, Daniel was a data scientist with the Sorenson Impact Center, and managed large grants with organizations like the Gates Foundation. He codes in R but appreciates the syntax of Python.
